After Jersey City Police Officer Adrien Murrell got to know about fourth grader Parth Patel’s battle with cancer, and having lost her brother to a terminal illness, she wanted to do something special for him.

So one day Arien surprised the 9-year-old with superhero-themed parade from his house to school. Wearing a custom-made Jersey City Police Officer uniform, Parth was carried from his home and placed in a Batmobile where he was driven by his favorite superhero.

His sister, Hileri, and his parents walked beside him as Parth led a parade filled with Jersey City’s finest.
