On Wednesday, October 19, 2016, more than 100 police officers, firefighters, and EMTs dressed as superheroes, made their way down North Street in Jersey City. In an unparalleled effort to fulfil Parth Patel’s final wish to attend school once more, Jersey City’s finest and bravest escorted the dying 9 year-old in a Batmobile along a Superhero Parade towards School 27.

Together with community leaders, corporate supporters, and law enforcement, Parth Patel’s final request was fulfilled as he was cheered on by classmates and neighbors.
